Misemployment
Would you rather be misemployed instead of being unemployed?
At some point in their lifetime, nearly all people are concerned about their future job, future title, or place in life. Similarly, being well employed has remarkable importance amongst society in modern life, no one wants to be unemployed or employed with a low-quality job. Low quality being relative. However, there is a third option that one can be; misemployed.
Misemployment refers to having a job that doesn’t match humanity’s core necessities. A job should be beneficial to humanity and good for that employee itself. Someone has to have a job that is good for his or her soul in order not to be misemployed. Predictably there is a huge lack of knowledge in society about misemployment’s existence, lots of people don't even know that they are misemployed.
Being both unemployed and misemployed is a choice that people make for themselves. Unemployment means not having a job, in other words in current circumstances, means not having money. On the contrary, misemployment is still a way to gain some money. So, while choosing our situation, as either misemployed or unemployed, we must be careful about what we trade. Money is not the only thing that we can give up, there are some other trade-offs that must be made.
Via being misemployed, in return to gain money, we spent our time, our labor and also some sources of our own or the world’s, such as more money to take a bus or more gasoline for our car. In contrast, via being unemployed, in return to give up gaining money, we have our time, energy, labor, and some sources that we can channel to the things that actually enhance the welfare of others or our inner good.
Since I believe that as human beings we should have some principles, some strict rules for ourselves; the job that we will do also should contain those principles and should serve us well. Especially mentally.
