Poem of the Forgotten Land
a clumsy attempt for a poem (?)
Salute to those who find peace,
In the very places stuck in between
Never like home, yet not a faraway land
Just a dusty corner, yearning to be found again
A space where shadows linger, cold and still
Darker and darker, oh, the stories the walls might spill
Despite its foredoomed essence
The forgotten land hopelessly craves the soul’s presence
