Personal Summary
Biography: Sinem Uğurlar was born in Istanbul in 1987. After completing the foreign language-oriented high school program, she completed the Applied English-Turkish Translation program at Concept Vocational School with a 100% scholarship. She studied Business Administration at Anadolu University for 2 years. Afterward, she was entitled to study at Istanbul University, Faculty of Letters, Department of English Language and Literature. She completed her formation training at Hasan Ali Yücel Faculty of Education, Department of Foreign Languages Education, Department of English Language Education. In the first year of her undergraduate education, Mina Urgan won the second prize with her short story "The Man Who Squeezed His Soul Like an Orange Peel". She also worked with adults by giving lessons at kindergarten, primary school, secondary school, and high school levels in public schools as well as private schools and courses. After serving as group president at Private Exam College, she moved into the publishing industry and worked as an assistant to the editor-in-chief at Epsilon Publishing Group. She was appointed as international rights coordinator within the same institution. She took Advanced Editing courses organized by the Publishers Association and from instructor editor Sevengül Sönmez. She also completed the creative writing workshop from Jale Demirdöğen and Emre Kalcı and the script lessons from Aziz Kedi at Kolektif House. She is currently working on translation and book projects, and apart from giving private lessons, she also continues her editing work by following the digital world. She improves her screenplay by writing articles for various magazines. "How to Shoot a Short Film?" given by Yasemin Demirci within the scope of the 5th Directed by Women Turkey International Women Short Film Directors Festival. participated in the workshop. He continues his film work, Instant Questions Podcast broadcast, Instant Articles Wordpress, and Instant Questions Youtube projects.
