A City Everyone Should See: Barcelona

If you want to satisfy yourself in terms of culture, entertainment, architecture, and art, Barcelona is the right place for you.

Imagine a city that fascinates everyone with its architecture, art, food-beverage culture, and entertainment life. This city is Barcelona. Catalan culture, which attracts the most tourists in Spain, is dominant in the town. You will experience this culture greatly while visiting Barcelona both with its foods and the events held throughout the year.

I think what makes Barcelona different from other cities is that, as a city, it promises more than one thing at the same time. You can find whatever you are looking for in Barcelona. For example, what are these?

First of all, the city's architecture is quite charming. The separation of houses into blocks, as if they were in the shape of a square, shows the city's order. Additionally, Barcelona consists of several different districts, and each of these parts has a name. Thanks to these districts, you can feel both the old and modern city atmospheres.

The city is full of Gaudi's stunning creations. You can visit these works. My suggestions for you would be Park Guell, La Sagrada Familia, Casa Vicens, and Palau Güell. I believe these places will satisfy your pleasure because you become fascinated when you visit them.

Besides the beauty of the city, you can never get bored in Barcelona because you can find many different attractive events. For example, there are particularly important museums in the city. Of course, that's not all but the most well-known of these are the Picasso Museum, Museum of Contemporary Art Barcelona (MACBA), and Museum of Nacional d'Art de Catalunya (MNAC).

Even if you say you don't want to visit art museums, there are activities you can do for fun. Either you can participate in Barcelona Treasure Hunts and Paella Cooking Classes, or you can dive into the city's nightlife.

It is fully colorful and enjoyable. We can say Barcelona has one of the best-hidden bars. My favorite one is El Paradiso. It was selected as the World's Best Bar in 2022. If you want to have a drink while having a lovely conversation with your friends, this may be the place you are looking for.

In addition to its bars, Barcelona has managed to draw attention to its food and beverage culture that embraces Mediterranean cuisine. The best way to know a city may be to experience the cuisine.

Brunch cafes are generally preferred for breakfast in the town. In the afternoon, tapas are mostly eaten with beer. We can call tapas as appetizers for us. Spanish people usually have their dinner after 9 o'clock and eat lots of seafood. Paella, Patatas Bravas, Crema Catalana, Churros, Sangria, and Cava are well-known dishes and drinks.

If you want to satisfy yourself in terms of culture, entertainment, architecture, and art, Barcelona is the right place for you.
