Balat And Its Cutest Coffee Shop: Pop's Balat
Let me tell you about the cutest coffee in Balat!
Balat is certainly one of the historical neighborhoods of İstanbul. It is located between Fener and Ayvansaray districts. Balat carries a remarkable value in terms of socioeconomic culture and demographic importance. The name Balat means ' Palace' in Greek also known as a Jewish neighborhood because of the Jewish people's majority in the 15th century. Their population decreased during this time due to some migration circumstances. There are still a lot of stores of Jewish people who work and defy the years.
Two days ago I went to the Balat a second time with my friend and we wanted to visit antique shops and stores that sell plaques because I believe that touching the past is very exciting as a young person. I checked out some turntables to buy in forwarding months bec their prices were very affordable and I think the new turntables are exactly made for the young generation or students. They are like a bag we carry in our hand so they are very useful.
After this visiting tour like a tourist in İstanbul as a woman who has been living here for about 6 years, we decided to drink coffee in a cafe and we checked where we can drink, so instantly I looked my back and saw a very cozy and artistic cafe. Its name was the Pop's Balat guys.
That was very cute and has an atmosphere that you makes feel like coming to your home or drinking your coffee while sitting on the sofa so I loved it so much and we just wanted to enjoy it with my friend.
The design of Pop's Balat is pretty cozy and sophisticated. You can read some things, rest, or if you work you may deal with your emails so all of is up to you and can change depending on your mood. Their prices were not very more expensive or cheaper than the other cafe, I think that was the average price. I gave 47 Turkish liras for a hot chocolate mocha.
So, lastly, I should that if your way past Balat you must see Pop's Balat:)
