Disney Gems: My Favorite Animations

Some of us have made animated movies their personality trait. I am some of us.

Ever since I was a baby, I have been a huge fan of animation movies. Disney is the main reason why I love animations as much! Throughout my years of maturation, Disney movies have always been with me. Now, I want to talk about some Disney and Pixar gems that should be watched by anyone!

Encanto:

One of the prettiest musicals that's ever existed! I watched Encanto when it was released, and since then, I think I have watched it a couple more times. The story is about the family Madrigal! It is a big family, and all of them have magical powers, well, except for Mirabel. We watch the movie through Mirabel's point of view. This movie has the greatest songs and animations. Another reason why I love the music is that Lin Manuel Miranda created the soundtrack! In the end, it teaches us that we should accept some stuff.

Turning Red:

I wish this movie came out when I had my first period. But I guess I was not that lucky. Basically, Mei, our main character, who is half Canadian and halfChinese, goes through the first step of adolescence. This movie proves that being on your period is not something to be ashamed of. It actually values strong emotions. When Mei feels strong emotions because of her hormones, she turns into a giant panda. It also has cultural references in it! Everyone should watch this movie.

Frozen 2:

This movie is just everything for me. Frozen is one of the most famous Disney movies of all time. Frozen 2 came out 6 years after the first one. In this movie, Elsa starts to hear some noises and eventually gives up. And she follows those noises. Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff, and Sven begin another adventure! In this sequel, we see the developed characters and animations. While watching that, we see them growing up. We see their acceptance of the past as a way to move on to the future. During that, we feel that we just grew up with them. Even Olaf says you all look a little bit older in my favorite song from the movie! Its songs and story are just flawless.

Elemental:

This is a recent movie. I am pretty sure many of you have already heard about it. In Elemental, elements are living in different places from one another because they may harm one another. At least, that is what they believe. Ember, our fierce fire girl, and Wade, our soft water boy, meet somehow. And they grow up in a friendship that ends up in love later on! We see the blocks that cause them to stay away from one another. We see how they get over them. As you can understand, this movie goes beyond the elements and refers to racism and how meaningless it is. But, just like the other Disney movies, it has a great ending which shows that things can change!

The movies I talked about are not hidden gems. They are already popular, but there is no harm to talk about them again!

Do not think animations are only for kids to watch. There are still many things we can learn from Disney's masterpieces.

I hope you enjoyed reading my blog, and I hope you will enjoy watching them! Thank you for spending your time. See you!
