You may have heard her name as one of the victims of Charles Manson. But she deserves more respect and recognition; she was a warm, humble, sweet soul that set her apart in the superficial world of Hollywood. Sharon was born in Dallas, Texas, on January 24, 1943. She possessed her adaptability and worldly charm from her father's frequent moves during his military career, which would later define her on-screen persona. 

Like many great stories, Sharon's journey into the world of acting was a happy accident. She started modeling after winning the title of "Miss Richland" in her teens, and talent scouts were drawn to her effortless elegance. She moved to Los Angeles to follow her dream after Hollywood called. Her career quickly took off after she landed parts in movies like Valley of the Dolls and The Fearless Vampire Killers. In Quentin Tarantino's 2019 film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Margot Robbie's portrayal of Sharon Tate gave viewers a glimpse of the star's charm and personality while also paying homage to and reimagining her life. Robbie's portrayal of Sharon is less of a main character and more of a symbolic figure in the movie. The subtle elegance of Margot Robbie's performance, which captured Sharon's grace, optimism, and enthusiasm for life without bordering on imitation, won praise. 

Debra Tate, Sharon's sister, gave her approval after seeing the movie and Margot Robbie's performance. She praised Robbie for capturing Sharon's essence, especially her purity and kindness. In order to ensure that Sharon's legacy was respected, Debra closely worked with Tarantino throughout the filming process to offer insights into her sister's personality. Later, she conveyed her appreciation that the movie honored Sharon's life instead of concentrating on the horrifying circumstances of her passing.
