Will Modern Technology Replace Traditional Newspapers And Magazines?

Here is my opinion about the debate of popularity between physical and online books.

Modern technology is at the center of our lives. Even we prefer E-books to traditional paper-made ones. According to these massive changes over the years, society thinks that nobody will ever prefer to read physical books anymore.

Although it changes, preferences may always differ. Not everybody accepts e-books because some readers want to feel the book while reading, both physically and emotionally. From my point of view, I love underlining the sentences that I liked very much while reading. Also, the scent of books drives people to another world while reading too. Most bookworms are emotional individuals who love to feel and sense. This sensation is not limited to books, but also newspapers and magazines. Traditional newspaper reading is also a habit. People read the news with enthusiasm while drinking their coffee or eating their breakfast. Additionally, physical newspaper offer sudoku as well is needed a physical pencil to solve. While solving it, individuals need more concentration and on e- newspapers, there are always popped advertisements that kill the concentration.

On contrary, nobody can deny the benefits of E-books and technology of course. Firstly, there are not too many trees that are cut anymore which is an environmental benefit. Considering today’s fast world, means of time, it’s easier and faster to reach online information.

However, as I have mentioned before, modern non-paper-based reading materials won’t replace classical ones. Classic always has strong roots and supporters.
