How do we define cheating?

Maybe we're having questions in our relationship because people don't share the definition of cheating.

There are some words that we don't know how to describe in an exact way. Can we define cheating? Since the definition of this word is not defined jointly by every person, it can create problems in a relationship. Let's take a look at the definitions of the word cheating that we will discuss.

To begin with, cheating can be defined as when 2 partners are in a relationship and the other partner likes the appearance of someone's. Some psychologists say that if partners are in a long-term relationship, it is normal that they get attracted by others. Since people can be bored by being together all the time. On the other hand, other psychologists claim that if partners really love each other they will never seek for other's attention or appearance.

Secondly, cheating can be defined as flirting. When a partner flirts with a person by giving compliments and behaves flirtatiously. Some say that there is nothing wrong with it since there is no sexual intercourse. Conversely, the feeling of jealousy triggers other partners' possession. This may cause blaming because that person might think that there is a possibility that him/her cheating on him/her.

Lastly, having sexual intercourse with someone else. It is unacceptable for those ones who think that their body belongs to one person. This situation can be defined as loyalty. On the contrary, partners defend themselves by saying it was something just for once or there was nothing emotional.

All in all, cheating can be defined in many ways which are adoring others' appearance, flirting, and having sexual intercourse. Which definition fits your moral worth?
