Environmental Pollution Caused By Overuse Of Plastic
One of the most important causes of environmental pollution: Plastic Consumption.
In our developing and changing world, the accuracy and necessity of the daily use of certain substances becomes a subject of discussion.
With the accompaniment of learning new information and inventions every day, we see that many things that we think are harmless cause serious harm to our world. An example of this is the use of plastic.
In my opinion unconscious and neglective behaviors such as using a plastic package once instead of using it for a long time or recoiling it causes the overuse of plastic. Because of the fact that the mess of plastic pollution is growing day by day, I feel hopeless about the future of our world. I feel sad and helpless because I don't understand why many countries are not taking action for our future while in some parts of the world few countries have banned the use of plastic.
Firstly people can start using steel or glass packages and containers instead of using plastic ones to eliminate plastic pollution. Steel and glass might be more expensive than the other option but the future of our world is priceless and unique to compete with money. For example, students who take food with them to school can protect nature by using a long-lasting glass container instead of using it in a plastic container and throwing it away.
Secondly, most companies offer customers plastic bags while shopping. Although this is not seen as a problem at first glance, these bags are left to nature and cause serious environmental pollution. Therefore, using fabric shopping bags instead of plastic bags is an effective solution to protect the environment and prevent plastic pollution.
These solutions seemed efficient and practical to me, as they could start with simple steps and produce huge positive results. In conclusion even in this pessimistic environment, there is still hope to reduce plastic pollution and protect nature by managing this process correctly and raising awareness.
