A Brief Perspective of ''God'': Demeter & Dionysos.

The Sanskrit word hu, which means evoke, call upon, and implore* is the meaning of the term god in our day. As long as time has passed, ''god'' is the subject of debate. It has always been a reflection and concern with literature mirror in poetry, epics, laments, myths, and so on… There are pieces of information about gods and goddesses that could be accessed and understood. With the enlargement of history and time, people get closer to gods. Thanks to those arrivals, with this close, it is much easier to reach incidents and myths all about gods. One of the important gods that committed people's memory is Demeter and Dionysus, the two great gods. They are important gods within imploration and evoking—as the root of the name implies—people and other points related to human nature, human beings.

Demeter and Dionysus are characterized as gifts of the earth; both divinities are present in the homely, daily acts that life depends on. If there are that many closer connections and relations with the real world—life—their classification as being a gift is logical in that sense. These two gods were named as gifts since they give important gifts to human beings. (Demeter, the goddess of agriculture; Dionysus, the god of wine.)  These divinities are kind and beneficial; thus, their importance in terms of human beings is gigantic. They are both powerful gods of the earth.

On the other hand, their touch, understanding, and perception of human feelings are the things that make them important and different. This ability of feeling makes them different from the other gods sitting at the top of Olympus. There was not only joy but also grief with them. Like Demeter, Dionysus was the god of joy, but at the same time, he was savage and brutal. Dionysus's situation is alike with life and wine. There are happy moments, but also sad moments. It hides two dimensions, feelings.) Their painful stories and experiences make them suffering gods. They were too effective by the seasonal changes, whereas the Olympian gods were not effective by the daily or seasonal changes. They just went on with their lives. Though Demeter and Dionysus were happy, joyful gods in the summertime; in the harvest in the winter, they were suffering and quite sorrowful; also, the earth was sad. The changes and affections' reason in terms of the season is that.) Within just going on their lives, the Olympian Gods who sat on the top of Olympus were not useful to human beings that much, as Demeter and Dionysus did. There were their interests and their own lives, individual joys, incidents, and happiness. Olympians had nothing to do with pain. Even if there were negative situations, the contagion or affection of those bad situations was merely nothing for the Olympian gods.

To conclude, Demeter's and Dionysus's multiple personalities in terms of hiding emotions inside of them create their importance. They are important gods with what and how they are. It makes them unique, and that uniqueness makes them different when compared with other gods. The other divinities who lived in the world were comparatively unimportant. There was unpredictability in Olympians and also capriciousness; however, those things were not in the best interest of human beings. With their helping (evoking, callinging upon, imploring of human beings*) to human beings and understanding of human nature, Demeter and Dionysus were really unlike when compared with others.
