A Part Of Your Life: Sports and Health
Combining Sport and Health with Life
Many people are aiming to start a diet, sports, and a healthy and balanced life every Monday. However, at the end of this goal, it usually ends up being malnourished or not exercising at all or it is usually started for a purpose (for summer, holiday, wedding, etc) and ends with a complete cessation after reaching the goal. This is how this unbalanced lifestyle continues. So, how can we make sport and healthy eating a part of our lives?
1. We need to accept that this is not a "goal, purpose", this is already in the routine of our lives. Usually, the effort started for a purpose end when the goal is reached but what is now considered to be life, continues for life. Of course, this does not mean that sports should be done 7 days a week or fed 7 days a week with great attention. Firstly, start with your diet. It is impossible to remove all unhealthy foods from your life at once because your body has a nutrition routine that it has been used to for many years, and it will want it. If you eat 2 chocolates a day, you can start by eating 1, or if you consume fast food 3 days a week, you can allow yourself to eat 1 day a week. It is difficult as you think. Besides that, there is also a sport. It is difficult to integrate sport and exercise into your life. Especially if you have never played sports or wanted to do it for any period of your life. First, it will make your life easier for you to find out which sport gives you pleasure. Fitness, swimming, yoga, reformer, cycling? There are a lot of options for moving, and it's up to you to explore them. If none of them are for you, you can start by walking. 1 hour of brisk walking or running every day will give you a completely different perspective. When you start doing this 5 days a week, you will notice for yourself how good it is for your body and how much your energy has increased.
2. The other important point is that you have people with you who support you. This is an important factor for changing your routine at the beginning. Everyone is influenced by the people around him/her, whether they like it or not. It is important for the people around you to encourage you at the beginning but now that you have integrated your life into this order, nothing can stop you. After 1 year has passed, you will notice that you are uncomfortable with unhealthy eating, and your energy is reduced when you do not exercise. That's when you'll realize that living healthy is not your goal anymore, it's your life.
