Book Review: Think and Grow Rich

A review of Think and Grow Rich. Does all that it takes to grow rich is to think?

Think and grow rich is a book that still has a lot of relevance to date. This book offers to help you get rich. Is this what it takes to grow rich? Do you just need to think?

The book is written by Napoleon Hill published in 1937. The book highly concentrates on the power of the mind, burning desire and faith as it says. The book says to have secrets to become rich within its chapter but you got to look for them. Did I find those secrets while reading this book? Let’s find out!

The book is very motivational. It tells you about the power of the subconscious mind and how it can help you achieve your goals. It gives away really well-known examples from the successful people Napolean has researched about for two years. It is aimed at the readers and is very direct in its explanation.  It often reminds you if you could decode those secrets hidden in the chapter but I must say It wasn’t really that hard to find them. Yes, I did find them.

The writing style in this book seems to be elongated which sometimes becomes too boring to read. It has an authentic touch with the events that are mentioned in it. However, it seems unnecessary at times. The language used is understandable and pretty moderate. The facts given in the book seem to have no way to be proved like all those successful names written in the book which were a part of research seems to have no other way of proving until this book.

Would I recommend this book:

Yes. Everybody has a different taste when it comes to books. Though this could be used as a book that gives you motivation to still reach for your goals. I personally just enjoyed reading. It is true that it believes in some practices like the power of burning desire that make it easier for you to achieve things. Faith, on the other hand, is again something that depends on the person itself. This book is good for those looking for some motivation.
