Conan Gray

Conan Gray is the next name on the list where I share my favorite artists with you. I’m positive that you have heard him before, on Tiktok probably. He has been very popular for the last few years and it is nice to see artists get the recognition they deserve.

Back to Conan Gray, he is a 25 year old singer and songwriter. Like most of the artists on the list, he also started his career with a Youtube channel on which he began posting in 2013. His content was vlogs and recipes at first, but as time passed he started to upload his songs as well. He self-released his debut single and his second single and then he signed a contract with Republic Records to release another single called “Generation Why” in 2018.

After that, his success only increased over the time. He opened for artists on tour and performed at festivals.

In 2020, he released his debut album Kid Krow which was a great success. He was expected to perform at Coachella that year, but due to the global pandemic, the event was called off. In August 2020, he released the song titled “Heather” which was another huge success for him. The song got overwhelmingly popular on Tiktok and got million streams on Spotify. He got into Billboard Hot 100 with “Heather”, shortly after the release.

He continued to release music throughout the pandemic as well. He released his second album Superache in June 2022. He also was a guest singer on Olivia Rodrigo’s Sour Tour in the same year. And recently, he has released his third album Found Heaven in April.
