Delightful Aura or Better Taste?

Some might wanna go to a nice, posh restaurant with instant family and some might love to explore the ecstatic food streets out there.

A restaurant is a public place that provides food and beverages on a commercial basis. It's open for all people to take refreshments, a variety of dishes, and beverages against money, thus also satisfying the guests. The word restaurant comes from rest and rent, so customers rest in and pay rent for having refreshments and beverages. Many people think that hotels and restaurants are the same in function and definition, actually, it is different, the hotel has accommodation system to stay the night with some facilities like food, but restaurants you can get those facilities without accommodation. While restaurants are all about the above, street food is rather distinct. Some people address street food as “meal on the wheel” which clearly implements that street food is rather simpler and faster than those of posh tranquil restaurants. Restaurants and street food are two different forms to enjoy food depending on the situation. These two forms are often compared and it’s a pretty contemplative question that which one is more preferable.

Or

Street food is ready-to-eat food or beverage, which includes various types of food ranging from fruits and vegetables to cooked meat, drinks, and mocktails. The restaurant provides more facilities. Typically there is a host or hostess to welcome customers and to seat them. Their orders are taken by a waiter who brings their food when it is ready and the customer pays the bill before leaving. The environment of a restaurant is posh and provides an excellent ambiance. Usually, the view is also eye-catching and attractive. Factors such as music, lighting, artwork, and spacing combine to create comfort and give a touch of luxury. Artworks also play a part. The painting hung on the wall sets the mood to portray to the guest. It also gives them a point of interest and a topic to talk about. Comparing the ambiance and luxury of a restaurant street food might not win. Street food is comfort food that is brought and consumed on the streets or the local markets where the environment is rather rough and loud. Instead of music and lighting, there is traffic noise and UV rays.

While street food is made and sold on the roadsides restaurants make their food in a closed hygienic environment. Restaurants’ cooks make dishes from ingredients already in their pantries. Those cooks prep the food - chopping and portioning - long before they start assembling dishes for customers. It’s their business to cook a lot of food for a lot of people in as short a time as possible, so they preplan for that every day. Furthermore, the management carries out a full sanitization service weekly which prevents the spread of germs or even viruses. That’s not the case with cart vendors and random food stall owners. They don’t carry out special cleaning services. Since they prepare food in the open air; the food is more exposed to flies, mosquitoes, and bugs. There are more chances that you go back home and experience a stomach poison.

However, street food is economically more desirable. It doesn’t matter if you are a middle-class family, a clan of friends, or a dating couple. Our tummy gets happy while we don’t have to spend much. In turkey, if you are out jogging and sight an old man selling fresh simit bagels but you only have a few coins inside your pocket. You need not worry as they’re enough to purchase it! Modern restaurants, on the other hand, offer way too costly menus. Their single dishes are priced at high rates. A poor family could be served a quality dinner in the same amount. They’re never a go-to option if a man owns a large family. He will end up with a big giant bill and regret. Such restaurants actually take money for food presentation and ambiance only. There is no use in spending money for temporary enjoyment.

Another chief factor that encounters the preference for restaurants is the high amount of capital that is needed to open up and manage a restaurant. When we talk about capital, we mean both, financial as well as human capital. The original owner carefully needs to select proper staff, workers, certified chefs, and well-educated managers. The most important vacancy is the marketer who would handle the advertisement of the eatery. Plus, significant salaries, rents, utility bills are to be paid on time. We must not forget the high investment which is done during building and designing of the restaurant. The prettier the ambiance, the greater designers will charge you. Not just this, it’s a daily headache to ensure if everything is going smoothly or not and whether the customers are happy or not. On the contrary, street food vendors are free of all types of rent and bills. The only thing they need to keep in account is the quality of their item. If it's as per the requirement of people, it luckily results in a famous and most running food stall in that particular town! The only skills needed are sheer alertness and consistent hard work.

Street food also provides us with a wide variety of food. You drive your car or stroll with your friends, you will sight numerous cuisines from fast food to Italian in a single town. This naturally prevents fights among the kids where one child always tries to convince his father to buy him a burger while the other wants a pizza. Modern restaurants are not have many experts in these terms and target a specific type of cookery.

It is definitely a difficult choice to make when going out for lunch or dinner. Obviously, everyone wants to choose the pocket-friendly method but no one is willing to miss the sight of the aesthetic environment either. Hence it depends on the mood and company. Some might wanna go to a nice, posh restaurant with instant family and some might love to explore the ecstatic food streets out there.
