House Of The Dragon 2: Daemon Targaryen

The fabulous and fictional character- Prince Daemon Targaryen- is a member of the House of Targaryen and the uncle and husband of Rhaenyra Targaryen in House of the Dragon. In season two, he captivated the audiences with his many valorous acts much like in the first season of House of the Dragon. However, in the second episode, Daemon and Rhaenyra argue about the death of Jaehaerys, the son of Aegon and Helaena Targaryen. Rhaenyra expresses that she is accused of murdering a little boy in King's Landing as Daemon sent two men to kill a boy in return for the death of Rhaenyra's boy Lucerys Velaryon without permission of Rhaenyra (Blood and Cheese). Following the argument, Daemon abandons her and flies to Harrenhal Castle with his dragon (Caraxes).

In Harrenhal Castle, he runs across some members of the House Strong. Daemon joins the group, consults with some houses for the approaching war, and gathers the troops. The troops grew, because other houses and people believed they needed a king rather than a queen against the Aegon Targaryen's army. Daemon also has extraordinary nightmares and hallucinations while residing in this castle. There is a girl called Alys Rivers, a bastard of House Strong, and is considered a witch. She is the source of the nightmares as she knows Harrenhal affects his life regarding the kingdoms. In these nightmares and hallucinations, Young Rhaenyra and Viserys Targaryen appear but also, in one nightmare Viserys says that he knew Daemon always demanded the crown. This nightmare and other hallucinations lead Daemon to ambiguous situations. Also, he sometimes is not able to understand the messages. Do the nightmares indicate the crown and him as a rightful heir?

The last nightmare, which includes a three-eyed raven, shows the future and destiny of the House Targaryen. The Night King, which many houses will struggle in the future with this creature, appears in the nightmare. Daenerys Targaryen has emerged as the future legacy of House Targaryen with dragons. The most significant thing in this nightmare is the scene of Rhaneyra sitting on the throne. Therefore, Rhaenyra Targaryen arrives at Harrenhal Castle to speak with him one-on-one. After the last nightmare, Daemon is conscious that Rhaenyra is the rightful heir and bends the knee to her with his army. With the end of House of the Dragon 2, the war between Team Black and Team Green is inevitable in season 3 for the audiences.
