The latest cast of RuPaul’s Drag Race season 16 has been officially announced. There will be 14 queens competing for the title of America’s Next Drag Superstar. Along with the crown, the winner will receive 200.000 $ in the Drag Olympics.

In less than a year, we will find out who will take the crown from this year’s winner, Sasha Colby. The 27-time Emmy-Winning show is still at its height with its new broadcast MTV. Let's meet with the queens of season 16!
Sapphira Cristál: She is a 35-year-old drag performer from Houston who is located in Philadelphia. Sapphira received an education in music composition, vocal training, and opera. She also hosts, sings, dances, and performs comedy sketches. Interestingly, she had auditioned for the show 11 times before being accepted to Season 16! She has been doing drag for 15 years - which means she has been doing it since the show's start. Sapphira is pansexual and she is the drag sister of Honey Davenport from Season 11.
Xunami Muse: Xunami is a 34-year-old Panamanian who joins the competition from New York. She is the second contestant from Panama after Serena ChaCha (Season 5 & All Stars Season 6). She is Kandy Muse's (Season 13 & All Stars Season 8) drag daughter from Haus of Muse, which makes her the granddaughter of Aja (Season 9 & All Stars Season 3), and niece of Dahlia Sin (Season 12).
Q: Q is a 27-year-old drag performer from Kansas City, Missouri. She has the shortest drag name in the history of the contest.
Plasma: Being only 24, Plasma is the youngest queen of the season. She is one of the New York queens. Her aesthetic is based on 1950s Hollywood glamour.
Plane Jane: This queen from Boston is 25 and is originally from Russia, which makes her the first Russian drag queen in the show. She was a ballroom dancer before joining the contest.
Nymphia Wind: Presenting the first Taiwanese queen ever to be a part of Drag Race HerStory. Nymphia is an aspiring drag queen from Brooklyn who has an exceptional style.
Mhi'ya Iman Le'Paige: Mhi'ya is a TikTok sensation who joins from Miami. She is 35, Haitan-American, and Tamisha Iman's (Season 13) granddaughter. She is also the drag daughter of Kennedy Davenport (Season 7 & All Stars Season 3).
Megami: She is a different queen from the others as she is originally a cosplayer who won the DragCon Cosplay Contest. Megami is originally from Puerto Rico and lives in Brooklyn.
Mirage Amuro: Mirage is a 27-year-old Mexican & Native American performer from Las Vegas. She is a ballet school dropout.
Hershii LiqCour-Jeté: This 33-year-old queen is from Los Angeles who also happens to be the sister of Kornbread (Season 14).
Geneva Karr: Geneva is the first Mexican-born queen who joins the Drag Race. She is located in Brownsville, Texas. It is important to note that Geneva won the Diva of the South Pageant in 2022.
Amanda Tori Meating: Amanda is a Los Angeles-based queen and a wig stylist.
Dawn: Dawn is another queen from Brooklyn who was a Drag Race fan for many years. She is 25 and has been doing drag for 5 years.
Morphine Love Dion: This season has many 'firsts' in the show's history and surely Morphine is one of them. She is the first queen of Nicaraguan descent who has colorful and extravagant taste.
