Özgen Ulukutlu "As The Colors Appear" Painting Exhibition
A colorful exhibition experience where you will get lost in the rich texture of art
I would like to start by saying that I like abstract art in general and I like the effect of realistic paintings more. I can say that I liked very few paintings in this exhibition because abstract art is a slightly more hidden art movement that does not put any reality in the foreground. I wouldn't say I liked the other paintings because they didn't fit my understanding of art, but I saw that all the works were appreciated by people throughout the exhibition.
My Favorite Paintings
(Özgen Ulukutlu, South, Flower Abstraction, 70*90, Oil on Canvas)
The first painting is a floral abstraction work. When I looked at this work, I was happy to be able to visualize something in my head, that is, to understand that it was a work on a flower. The yellow, blue, and green tones used create a harmony with each other. I can say that I liked this painting more because it reminded me of Van Gogh's Sunflowers. I can say that it immerses me in dreams and when I imagine myself getting lost among these flowers, I can say that it covers me with happiness. I can say that she should continue this kind of work and that she is successful in flower abstraction.

The second painting, also an abstraction of the beach, was the second work that I liked in terms of visualizing something in my head and looking more realistic. The beach is one of the places that give people peace and happiness. It has been a painting that is good for my soul, even nourishes it and fills me with peace. The colors used are again in accordance with the main theme and the colors that reveal what is wanted to tell are preferred. I also liked the white lines he threw in between. And especially the wave image is among the details I like. I can say that I like the work with all its lines.

The third painting reminded me of two different things. The first was the layers of the Earth, and the second was the inner image of the melon, even though it was a bit unrelated. I don't know why, but when I first looked at it, the image of the melon echoed in my brain, but when I stopped for a few minutes and looked at the painting again and again, I realized more clearly that it reminded me of the layers of the Earth. Although this painting is also called abstract, I can say that I like it because it seems realistic to me. I especially loved the green tone used in the background. Since green is among my favorite colors, I can say that the color used in the background of this painting provides integrity. Bright and vibrant colors were preferred. In general, I think it is a successful painting.
Finally, I can say that Ms. Özgen continues her steps rapidly with a successful career. Although abstract art is not my cup of tea, I think that she should continue her work and that she will achieve more success on this path. We have not had the opportunity to meet her before. However, I liked her warm and sincere behavior at the exhibition. There was a lot of interest in the exhibition area. And everyone wanted to ask questions and learn more about the paintings. We congratulate her on this exhibition and wish her continued success.
