The Biggest Problem We Are Facing

We have a problem, and we need to solve it as soon as possible. I know you have some opinions, but one of them is correct.

Firstly, accepting the existence of global warming and climate emergency is a hard process for young people. As a lifetime science believer and lover even I was denying the climate emergency as a defense mechanism. Sometimes we choose not to see facts even though we know, deep down, they are true. It is easy to empathize with the people who are experiencing psychophysical problems because of the existence of climate emergency.

To understand and care about the climate emergency or any other problem (because it should care for in our future) we should know the fundamental reasons and logic behind the climate emergency. If we can figure out why is this happening to our world and what are solutions, and precautions we can take, we can easily understand and accept this issue we are facing. . As you know climate emergency happens because of global warming. And what causes global warming is the key to everything about understanding climate emergency. If we can raise awareness about why global warming happens, people will feel more responsible. The increase in carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is the main cause of global warming, hence the climate crisis.

Now we come to another question. Why is carbon dioxide in the atmosphere causing global warming? Sunrays that come to our world by the sun are reflected back into space in ways such as rocks and oceans. Carbon dioxide allows some of the sunrays, which our earth reflected back, to remain on our earth. Carbon dioxide sends the other part of the sun's rays back to space. If the proportion of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere increases, a larger part of the sunrays that we reflect back will remain on our earth. This is what we call the greenhouse effect.

If we can impress this logic in people's heads, the rest will be easy. After understanding these, we can talk about the things people do that create the greenhouse effect, and then we can talk about what we can do better to prevent the greenhouse effect, global warming, and of course climate emergency. We should work on making people understand the science and logic behind climate emergencies by empathizing with them and speaking facts.
