A Summer Playlist: The Musts for Long Roadtrips
Here are some song recommendations for this summer!
We are getting closer to the middle of the summer. However, I realized that we have not talked about a summer playlist.
As I get ready for a small vacation, I thought I could give you 5 songs to listen to this summer! Maybe you can find something you like, or something you already know. You can listen to this playlist while getting ready after a beach day or while on the road to a nice place. You can even just listen to it to lift your mood!
Long story short, here is a playlist I created for this summer:
Mamushi (feat. Yuki Chiba) by Megan Thee Stallion:
This is a recent and nice collaboration between American rapper Megan and Japanese rapper Yuki Chiba. This song has a catchy melody. Both verses are really good. There are some cultural references. Also, we get to listen to Megan's Japanese! It has been getting more and more streams, so it will probably be a popular song for this summer.

Feather by Sabrina Carpenter:
This summer, she is a glowing star! Whatever she releases is just perfect. But I know many people are tired of hearing her new songs on Instagram or TikTok. That is why I think this gem is perfect for this summer! But I need to give you a warning. The melody and the lyrics can get stuck with you for a long time. This song is very energetic and fits perfectly into the 'hot girl summer' idea.

Lunch by Billie Eilish:
I mean, we all heard her new album. This song is great for the summer vibe. It is so catchy and hyped. Whenever I listen to this song, I take my hairbrush, go in front of my mirror, and just dance and sing. There are other songs from the album that are also perfect. To be honest, choosing something outstanding in that album was hard. But I believe this song is perfect for the summer of 2024!

'87 Stingray by Tory Lanez:
This song is not that old, but it is not that recent either. In this album, we hear melodies from the 80s. The theme of the album is 80s pop music. I think Tory Lanez nailed this and created an amazing album. '87 Stingray is another great song from this album. It is impossible to find the best one in Alone At Prom. Anyway, this song makes me roll down the car windows on a long road and enjoy the breeze on my face. This song is perfect for summer nights, too.

Kopuk Uçurtma by Büyük Ev Ablukada:
The last song on the playlist belongs to one of the most talented groups in Turkiye. This song is from another great album. At first, it is calm, but with the chorus, we see the genius use of vocals and instruments. This song helps me appreciate life. Whenever I sit on the sand and watch the sunset, I find myself searching for this song. This song brings me peace and gives the goosebumps at the same time.
