Apple News becomes Available in Canada

In Canada, specifically in Montreal and Toronto, Apple has introduced local news curating.

According to Apple YouTuber and Blogger Rene Ritchie, local news coverage has been added to Apple News in Canada. That the very first local news version will be available in Toronto and Montreal, with coverage from La Presse, the Toronto Star Narcity, and also different news organizations. Customers in Montreal and Toronto can now access local news alongside national updates thanks to an upgrade to Apple News. The app currently has distinct local sites for only two cities, however, it appears that only Toronto contains news stories at the time.

Remember, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, the Bay Area, Washington, D.C., San Diego, Raleigh-Durham, Miami, Sacramento, Charlotte, Houston, and San Antonio are among the 14 cities and regions covered by local news since 2000. It is finally starting to roll out in Toronto and Montreal. It is great progress for other cities in the rest of the world.

Toronto's selected pages appear to be offered in English via standard. The still-empty Montreal version has French-language category heads. Apple News is free for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac users. Apple News+, the company's new subscription plan, prices $12.99 for each month that gives users to connect to newspapers such as The Globe, Mail, Time, and others. Apple has stated that it will keep adding cities, with a focus on the overall population and also how many people are potential Apple Newsreaders.
