Upcoming Video Games of 2023: Top 10 Games Worth Wait

There are a great number of video games confirmed for 2023 and there is no doubt that it will be a remarkable year for gamers. Whether the games are sequels or brand-new titles, all of the games look promising. So without further ado, let's check out my list of upcoming video games for 2023.

Forspoken

Forspoken is a story about Frey, a girl who finds herself in a wild world untamed, and a fierce world full of magic and magnificent beasts. Moreover, Forspoken is produced by some of the people who worked on Final Fantasy 15, so expectations are high.

Dead Space Remake

Electronic Arts have revealed that they are working on a remake of one of the classic survival–horror games, Dead Space. Dead Space is about a space engineer sent to fix a stranded spaceship, which is later revealed in control of mutated corpses. While Its mechanics are being built from scratch, it is assumed that the story of the Dead Space Remastered will remain similar to the original.

Hogwarts Legacy

Taking inspiration from the original books, Hogwarts Legacy will provide us with a unique story of a student attending Hogwarts a few hundred years before Harry Potter. It is known to will be an open-world RPG, so get ready to explore every corner of Hogwarts.

Like a Dragon: Ishin!

Like a Dragon: Ishin!, also known as Ryu ga Gotoku: Ishin! is finally coming to the western world and English territories with a full-blast remake in 2023. Like all the other Yakuza games, Like a Dragon: Ishin! is expected to be full of action and comedy. Unlike other games of the series, the spinoff will take place in the samurai era.

Skulls and Bones

Seems like Ubisoft decided to release its own pirate game after seeing the success of Sea of Thieves. Skulls and Bones are being developed by the same team which developed Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag. It will include a solo campaign, but the emphasis will be on multiplayer sea fights.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is going to be about Cal Kestis five years after Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Seemingly the game will be pretty much focused on survival. Other than this not much is known, but it can’t stop us from getting hyped since it surely will become one of the best video games of 2023.

Resident Evil 4 Remake

One of the most iconic survival horror games, Resident Evil 4 is getting a remake. Just like Dead Space Remastered, the studio is expected to preserve the game's main theme, remake the remaining mechanics, and modernize our beloved Resident Evil 4.

Hollow Knight Silk song

In the sequel of the best representative of the Metroidvania genre, Hollow Knight, we will follow the journey of Princess Hornet. The Hollow Knight Silk song presents over 150 new enemies and new moves, and new towns to explore.

Hades 2

Being one of the most loved indie games, Hades is also getting a sequel, Hades 2. Our protagonist will be Zagreus’ sister Melinoë, the princess of the underworld.
