Changes in Life During 100 Years
Changes, can be both ups and downs. Technological and medical developments eased life. But there are also negative changes.
According to Paul Baltes, development is lifelong. During the developmental process, it can be both ups and downs. As with every other creature, life has its development as well. That’s why nothing has stayed the same over the years. With the developing time, life has become better than it was 100 years ago using life’s easiness, more life expectancy of humans and animals due to the development of the health industry, the positive revolutions, awareness of human rights as well as animal rights, equivalence of both genders and so on.
It is easier to compare 1922 with 2022. Firstly, technological and medical developments had eased life so much. The life expectancy in total had increased, and awareness about global problems had widespread. There were lots of innovations and revolutions that are done like the telephone and the internet. These 2 inventions were the keys to today’s world. Also, there are lots of other important scientific developments too. Due to the ease of spreading the information, awareness of humanity’s collective consciousness had risen too.
Contrary to that positive issues, it is undeniable that there are also some negative impacts as well. Unfortunately, with the developing medicines, it is easier to get pregnant. Although being pregnant and giving birth to an organism is such a beautiful thing, with the increasing number of birth, today the world is so crowded that even the raw materials and world’s resources are still limited. That causes war, not just using physical ones but also survival. More poor countries are becoming slaves of industrialized countries which means freedom is decreasing. Also by using some of the man-made innovations, w, unfortunately,y harm the environment more than 100 years ago. The natural habitat is changing over the years and caused or will cause unbalance in nature. People are more selfish than ever before and that harms not only people themselves but also all organisms like animals, plants, trees, and even batteries.
