Throughout my academic journey, I have served as a full-time intern within social services, working as a community specialist, where I gained invaluable experience engaging with diverse groups in society. Additionally, as an active freelance writer for the platform Sociologer, I contribute articles that capture the pulse of social sciences and engage in contemporary discussions. I have also played an active role in fieldwork at my university, where I enriched my theoretical knowledge by applying it in practical settings.

    Hello! My name is Ülker Sudem Naç. I am a passionate sociology student and believe that sociology is a powerful tool for understanding people's lives and transforming society. I am currently studying in the Department of Sociology at Istanbul University and plan to graduate in 2024. Throughout my sociology education, I have had the opportunity to explore various dynamics and issues within society. Academically, I have focused on topics like addiction and gender equality, and I have developed a deep understanding in these areas. Additionally, I completed a voluntary internship at the Ministry of Family and Social Policies and worked as a field researcher at the Istanbul University Sociology Research Center. One of the things that excites me the most is the opportunity to harness the power of sociology to contribute to social transformation. In my professional career, I want to focus on developing innovative solutions that are sensitive to social issues. Furthermore, I aim to actively work to support social justice and human rights and to promote societal change. I always enjoy connecting and collaborating with others.
